1. Sweepstakes Period: The Verizon Wireless Droid Arena Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") begins 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on September 4, 2011 and ends 11:59 pm ET on September 7, 2011 (the "Sweepstakes Period").
2. Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older as of date of entry. Employees of Verizon Wireless (the "Sponsor"), McGarry Bowen, Don Jagoda Associates, Inc., their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, suppliers, distributors and advertising, promotional and judging agencies (collectively "Sponsor and its Parties") and the immediate family members (spouses, parents, children, and siblings and their spouses) and household members of each, are not eligible to participate or win. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor and its Parties and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents, and any and all Internet servers and access provider(s) (collectively, the "Releasees") are not responsible for: any incorrect or inaccurate information; human error; technical malfunctions; failures, omission, interruption, deletion, or defect of any telephone network, computer online or e-mail systems, computer equipment, servers, providers, Applications or software, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer or Android device relating to or resulting from participation or inability to participate in this Sweepstakes; inability to retrieve location data from Application or Android device; theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of clues; data processing that is processed late or incorrectly or is incomplete or lost due to mobile phone, computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on telephone lines or the Internet or any website; or for any other errors or problems of any kind relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, whether computer, network, technical, printing, typographical, human or otherwise or any combination thereof, including, without limitation, any errors or problems which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the Application, the Sweepstakes Site or in any Sweepstakes-related materials. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants affirm that they have read and accepted these Official Rules.
3. How to enter the Sweepstakes: All entries (via methods A and B below) must be submitted based on a global 30-minute clock with the same timing, starting/stopping at the top of each hour and at each half hour mark.
   1. To enter, download the free application Droid ARena ("Application" or "app") on your Android device, available for download at droiddoes.com/bionic/mobile, droiddoes.com/bionic, or the Android Market or V CAST Apps Store. Once you launch the app, during every 30-minute game you will have an opportunity to visit geolocations (based on specific prize) as indicated on the app (no more than 1 mile away from user's geolocation) to capture up to 4 devices/prizes. Once you are within 100 yards of the location, you may point your Android device in the direction of the virtual device/prize and tap where indicated to "capture the device." Once you capture your first device/prize, you will be prompted to submit your email address and complete age verification to receive an entry corresponding to the appropriate device/prize. Thereafter, each time you capture a device/prize, you will be prompted to enter the Sweepstakes again for a chance to win the corresponding device/prize.
      NOTE ABOUT MOBILE: When you use the Application via your Android device and/or download or transmit data via your Android device, standard data and messaging rates may apply according to the terms and conditions of your service agreement with your wireless carrier. Other charges may apply (such as normal airtime and carrier charges) and may appear on your mobile phone bill or be deducted from your prepaid account balance. Wireless carriers' rate plans may vary, and you should contact your wireless carrier for more information on rate plans and charges relating to your participation in this Sweepstakes. Check your Device's capabilities for specific instructions.
   2. To enter for free and/or for non-Android device owners, to enter visit droiddoes.com/bionic ("Sweepstakes Site") and click the link entitled "Don't have an Android device." Input your location within the Google Maps interface from your personal computer. You will then use Street View Navigation to find/collect up to 4 virtual devices/prizes during each 30-minute game based on location entered, each of which will earn you one Sweepstakes entry for the corresponding device/prize. During each 5-minute segment ("Hunt") of the 30-minute game, you may capture up to 4 devices/prizes. At the end of your first Hunt where you captured at least one device/prize, you will be prompted to submit your email address and complete age verification to receive an entry corresponding to the appropriate device(s)/prize(s). If you did not capture all devices/prizes during the first Hunt, you may play in additional Hunts within that 30-minute game (if available) to capture any remaining devices/prizes.
      If you have already earned an entry for that device/prize within the 30-minute game, you will not be eligible to earn another entry for that same device/prize during that 30-minute game. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on September 7, 2011, to be eligible for a chance to win. Limit one entry per device/prize, per email address, every 30 minutes, regardless of method of entry. Limit 48 entries total per device/prize, per day per person/email address (192 total entries per device/prize per person/email address for entire Sweepstakes Period). All entries must be complete to be eligible. All entries become property of the Sponsor. Sweepstakes entries generated by script or bot are not eligible.
      Entrant will have an opportunity to select a training mode. The capture of device/prizes during training mode will not count as a Sweepstakes entry, however the time utilized during training will count towards the 30 minute game.
4. Sweepstakes Random Drawing: The Sweepstakes Prize winners will be selected in separate daily random drawings on or about September 9, 2011 from among all eligible Sweepstakes entries received for each prize each day during the Sweepstakes Period. Entries will not be carried forward to subsequent drawings, if any. The random drawings will be conducted by Don Jagoda Associates, Inc., the Administrator, an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. The odds of winning a Sweepstakes Prize will depend on the number of eligible Sweepstakes entries received for each prize each day during the Sweepstakes Period.
5. Prizes and Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): There are a total of sixteen (16) Sweepstakes Prize winners during the Sweepstakes Period. There will be four (4) winners for each day of the Sweepstakes Period as follows:
   One (1) winner will win a Motorola Tablet (Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $669.99) and a Droid Bionic (ARV: $589.99) (Total ARV for both prizes: $1,259.98);
   One (1) winner will win a Flat Screen LCD Television (ARV: $1,300) and a Droid Bionic (ARV: $589.99), (Total ARV for both prizes: $1,889.99);
   One (1) winner will win a Laptop computer (ARV: $999) and a Droid Bionic (ARV: $589.99), (Total ARV for both prizes: $1,588.99); and
   One (1) winner will win a Drone Quadcopter (ARV: $304) and a Droid Bionic with $5 VISA Gift Card (ARV: $594.99), (Total ARV for both prizes: $898.99).
   The Total ARV of all prizes to be awarded in the Sweepstakes is $22,551.80.
   Wireless service is not included with phone or tablet. All prizes are Sponsor-specified. Winners of each prize will be solely responsible for phone activation charge, monthly access and service fees (if applicable), and all federal, state, and local taxes on prizes, and all other expenses related to the acceptance or use of any prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any fees, costs or additional charges resulting from the use of the prize. Winners of the prizes must have valid U.S. mailing addresses. Prizes cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes or outside the U.S. Prizes are awarded "as is." The ARV of any electronics prize listed is subject to price fluctuations in the consumer marketplace based on, among other things, any gap in time between the date the ARV is estimated for purposes of these Official Rules, and the date the prize is awarded or redeemed. If the actual purchase price of any prize is less than the ARV stated herein, the prize winner will NOT be entitled to a check, cash or other form of payment for the price difference. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees on the prize (if any) shall be subject to the manufacturer's terms. Winners agree to look solely to such manufacturer for any such warranty and/or guarantee.
   Limit one (1) prize per person/household during entire Sweepstakes Period.
   
6. Winner Notification: All prizes will be awarded and winners will be contacted via email on or about September 9, 2011. Potential winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and where legal, a Publicity Release within seven (7) days of notification attempt. Noncompliance within this time period will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. Affidavits will be sent via email and must be returned via email/fax and the original must be sent via mail. If any winner fails to comply with the above timeframe, if any prize or prize notification is returned as non-deliverable, or if any winner rejects his/her prize or in the event of noncompliance with these Official Rules, such prize will be forfeited and, an alternate winner will be selected. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be awarded. A 1099 tax form will be submitted on behalf of any winner of any prize valued at $600 or more by Sponsor for the actual value of the prize awarded. Decisions of judges are final with respect to all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Prize award is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.
7. General Rules: No substitution or transfer of prize permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion of prize) of equal or greater value in the event the prize is unavailable. All applicable federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winner. By participating in the Sweepstakes, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes if it is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures (where Application or Sweepstakes Site fails to work) or any other problems beyond the control of the Sponsor (including cancellation of Sweepstakes) and conduct the Sweepstakes random drawings from among all eligible Sweepstakes Entries received per prize per day prior to cancellation. Prize winners and all entrants/participants, as a condition of participation in the Sweepstakes, agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Releasees from all liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded. Prize winners assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in the Sweepstakes, the receipt, ownership or use of prize awarded or any typographical or other error in these Official Rules or the announcement of offering of the prizes. Void where prohibited and subject to all federal, state and local laws. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use each winner's name and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error on the Application or Sweepstakes Site, the Sweepstakes materials or the offering or announcement of the prizes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, participants accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decision of the Sponsor/judges. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a Sweepstakes entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. "Authorized account holder" of an email address is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Access provider, Online Service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, Sweepstakes Site or the Application; violates the Official Rules; acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner; or acts with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. As a condition of participating in the Sweepstakes, participant agrees that: 1) under no circumstance will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential or any other damages, other than for out-of-pocket expenses; 2) all causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and 3) any and all claims, judgments, and award shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event will participant be entitled to receive attorney's fees or other legal costs.
